The Water Warrior Award recognizes, supports and encourages individuals who have demonstrated great courage, conviction and effort to improve water security for vulnerable communities. Miraji is an exceptional individual relentlessly working to address the water problems facing his community in Tanzania.

Enrol now for University of East Anglia’s School of International Development short course on water security - 24-28th June 2019. We are regular contributors to this course, leading interactive sessions on the role of social accountability and stewardship for water security.
Accountability for Water Inception Meeting

Habari za Maji prize for outstanding journalism
in October 2018, Water Witness International and its partners awarded the ‘Habari za Maji’ prize for outstanding journalism for accountability in water management. The Awards attracted 120 submissions from 46 journalists.
