UEA Short Course on water security for practitioners and policymakers - apply now!
WWI are a regular contributor to the University of East Anglia’s School of International Development short course on water security.
This year’s course is to be held in Norwich, UK, 24-28th June 2019, co-convened by the School of International Development and Water Security Research Centre both at UEA.
The course combines water politics, climate change, health, agricultural water management and water allocation, with teaching from a diverse and experienced team of scholars and practitioners known for their innovative thinking and contribution to water security knowledge and practice, including UEA, KCL, WWF, LSE and WWI.
This is a fantastic opportunity for entry and mid-level water and development policy-makers and professionals to learn from, and engage with leading thinkers and practitioners on water security in an international and developing economy context. Participants will leave the course with an ability to critically assess and address current water security issues and policies and to gain an appreciation of the relations between water security and development, health, climate, food, and national security.
We will be running sessions on social accountability and water stewardship.
