Ethiopia Industrial Parks
The textiles and apparel sector is booming across Africa, and in Ethiopia our team is working with 13 industrial parks to help reduce water pollution, increase sustainable water usage in their operations, and ensure water, sanitation and hygiene for all workers.
Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints
Water Witness is one of the founders of the Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints, launched at COP26 in Glasgow, which aims to help companies, governments and financial institutions to deliver fair water usage in their supply chains. The Declaration has 30 signatories, all committing to deliver zero water pollution, equitable withdrawal, protection of nature, climate resilience and access to water, sanitation and hygiene for all workers.
