The Water Warrior Award recognizes, supports and encourages individuals who have demonstrated great courage, conviction and effort to improve water security for vulnerable communities. On Monday 29th October, we hosted a diverse audience of 68 public sector, private sector and NGO stakeholders to discuss Scotland's role in driving climate resilient pro-poor growth in Africa through water stewardship.

in October 2018, Water Witness International and its partners awarded the ‘Habari za Maji’ prize for outstanding journalism for accountability in water management. The Awards attracted 120 submissions from 46 journalists.
